The Presidential Double Laminate (DL) and Triple Laminate (TL) are the go-to choice for homeowners who want the look of cedar shake without the fire risk or building code issues. Ranging from 350 to 480 pounds per square, these are among the heaviest and most substantial shingles available. They carry wind and fire protection ratings, an Energy Star rating, and are accepted by most Summit and Eagle County HOAs that required cedar shake on the original structure.
